IC 7022 Cool White FlexCure - 1 Gallon
Low-bleed, fast-flashing, low-tack, non-phthalate plastisol screen printing ink with a flexible curing range.
Characteristics
International Coatings 7022 Cool White™ is a low-bleed, fast-flashing, low-tack, non-phthalate plastisol screen printing ink designed for excellent opacity, easy printing, and flexible curing.
Its creamy viscosity and smooth printing characteristics make it suitable for both automatic and manual presses. Cool White™ performs well on a variety of substrates, including cotton, cotton/polyester blends, and select promotional materials.
Part of the FlexCure™ ink line, Cool White™ offers a flexible curing range of 275°F to 325°F (135°C to 163°C), providing greater production flexibility while helping reduce energy consumption.
- Low-bleed formulation designed to help minimize dye migration.
- Fast-flashing performance with very low after-flash tack.
- Creamy viscosity and excellent body for smooth printing on automatic and manual presses.
- Excellent opacity with reduced squeegee pressure.
- Flexible curing range of 275°F to 325°F (135°C to 163°C).
- Suitable for a wide variety of textiles and select promotional substrates.
- Non-phthalate plastisol ink formulation.
- Allows the use of finer mesh counts while maintaining excellent opacity.
- Flashing: Cool White™ spot dries quickly with very low after-flash tack. Flash only until the ink is dry to the touch without lifting. Excessive heat can increase tack and cause intercoat adhesion problems. Final curing should occur in the dryer.
- Bleed Resistance: Cool White™ is an ultra-low-bleed ink, not a non-bleed ink. Dye migration may occur on certain fabrics. Always test the substrate before production, including long-term testing when necessary.
- Printing Pressure: The creamy formulation allows excellent opacity with reduced squeegee pressure. Lower pressure can improve screen life, squeegee durability, and overall print quality.
- Curing: Cool White™ is part of the FlexCure™ line and can be cured between 275°F and 325°F (135°C and 163°C). Verify that the entire ink deposit reaches the required cure temperature.
- Mesh Selection: Its excellent opacity allows finer mesh counts to be used in many applications, reducing ink consumption and producing a softer hand on flashed fabrics.
- Reducers and Additives: Adding reducers or other additives may reduce bleed resistance and opacity or increase curing time. Stir thoroughly before printing and after adding any reducers or additives.
- Production Testing: Verify dryer temperatures and perform wash tests before and during production to ensure proper curing and print durability.
